Paula Jean Usher

Paula Jean Usher, 61, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, May 15, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born July 2, 1954 in St. Louis to the late Ronald (Pappy) and Elwanda Bryan. Paula resided in Jonesboro since the early 1980’s after coming from Aurora, Illinois. She was also of the Christian belief. Paula’s favorite past time was fixing things. Paula was “Favorite Aunt” to eight nieces and ten nephews. She was also known as “Mom” Paula and Grandma to many. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.


She is preceded in death by both parents.

Paula is survived by her Special friend: Pam Ford of the home; two children: Wilber Joe Usher and Viola Jean Stafford both of Springfield, MO; four sisters: Sharon Vogt, Sandra Hagan, Debora Bone of Jonesboro, and Rhonda Goepel of Aurora, Illinois; one brother: Ronald “Rusty” Bryan of Kennett, MO; and several grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 5-7pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
