Paula Sue Dickson

Paula Sue Dickson, 88, of Jonesboro, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at her home.

Paula was born in Jonesboro and was a 1949 graduate of Jonesboro High School. She was a long-time employee of Sears of Jonesboro and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro.

In 1989 Paula and husband Graham Dickson retired and relocated to Cherokee Village where they lived until Graham's health failed and they returned to Jonesboro in 2003. Following Graham's passing in 2005 Paula became an active member of St. Bernards Auxiliary and active with the NEA Humane Society as she was a dog lover. Paula enjoyed following golf and watching her television shows. She was preceded in death by her parents: Carter Mitchell Lane and Pauline Coward Lane and her husband Graham Dickson.

Survivors include her son, Michael Dickson of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Honorary pallbearers include Skip Covington, Louis Schaff, Ron Rhodes, Joel King, Dr. Matt Garner, Robert Box and Dave Marthey.
