Paula Sue Bruner, 58, of Jonesboro passed away January 16, 2021 at home with family by her side. She was born to the late Louie E. and Etta Sue Bruner on March 30, 1962 in Jonesboro.
Paula lived her entire life in Jonesboro and attended Christian Life Center in Brookland. She enjoyed spending time with her friends riding backroads and driving to Debbie’s. Paula was a huge fan of Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right, as well as watching old westerns, but more then anything Paula enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her brother; William Bruner, granddaughter; Makenna Bruner, and several aunts and uncles.
Paula is survived by her husband Andrew “Gumpy” Hunter of the home; daughters, Misti Thomas of Bono, and Maria Wells (Jermey) of Harrisburg; brother, Ray Bruner (Debbie) of Paragould; sister in-law, Linda “Poochie” Hunter (Richard) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Devin Mitton, Pandora Estrada, Matthew Bruner, Samuel Flores, Slade Barkley, Jaxson Ray, Jacob Ray, Annabelle Thomas, Ferris Thomas, Pilot Thomas, Athena Cooper, and Dante Cooper.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Committal services will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
