Paul Reed

Paul Reed, 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at his home. Paul was born in Churdan, Iowa on March 14, 1952, and lived in Jonesboro for 30 years, moving here from Fisher. Paul was a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Paul loved to fish and was the best cat fisherman around. He also enjoyed horseshoes and won many trophies and was the jack of all trades. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

Survived by his wife of 39 years, Lou Reed of the home.

Daughters, Misty Terry (Scott) of Manila and LouAnne Abernathy of Jonesboro.

Brothers, Don Reed of Harcourt, Iowa, Bert Reed of Badger, Iowa, Joe Reed of Carroll, Iowa and Jim Reed of Grand Junction, Colorado.

4 grandchildren, Sarah Irwin, Jasmine Terry, Joshua Terry and Brooklynn Guthrie.

Several nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Winningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Pierce Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Tuesday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Cowan.
