Paul Penn Jr.

Paul Penn Jr., 75, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Jonesboro Health and Rehab. He had lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was active as a Sunday school teacher at Central and was also active in church mission trips to Brazil and Mexico. Paul enjoyed work with Gideon’s International. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emilee Ann Penn; mom, Lorene Penn; and sister, Judy Penn.

Survivors include sons, Paul Penn and his wife Darlynda ; Mark Penn and wife Rita all of Jonesboro; daughter, Diane Evans and husband Jackie, Canton, North Carolina; father, Paul Preston Penn of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas ; sisters, Sue Smith of Byhalia, Mississippi; Loretta Banton, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Mike Martin officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Marcus Penn, Jackson Evans, Aaron Penn, Lance Patterson, Daniel Perry and Mike Perry serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Doffie Jarvis, Jerry Muse, John Darter, Dwain Sims and Danny Wages. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday.
