Paul WesleyMoon, 61, of Lake City died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec 6, 1949 in Jonesboro.
He is survived by his wife Loudine Moon of the home; two children and their spouses; one son, Wesley and Misty Moon and one daughter LaDonna and Joey Becerra, all of Paragould; two step-sons and their spouses, Larry and Kathy Clark of Jonesboro, Randy Rogers of Bonneville, Missouri; one step daughter, Adair Isbell of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Winston, Felishia, Aubrey, Colton, Braden, Zachery, Jett and Rhys and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are seven siblings and their spouses; James and Auda Bell Moon; Sonny and Margie Moon, all of Trumann; Larry and Jean Moon of Lake City, Jack and Brenda Moon of Bay; Craig and Mary Moon of Trumann, Louann Moon of Jonesboro; Vickie and Stanley Holden of La Porte, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vick and Oudia Jones Moon; three brothers, Bill Moon, Tom Moon Charlie Moon; two sisters, Jeanette Mabry and Rochelle Norman. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, August 15, 2011 at Bethabara Baptist Church with Joey Smithson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow in Lower Cane Island Cemetery with Wade Moon, Dennis Moon, Roger Moon, Ronnie Norman, Mike Roach Jr., and Bob Barker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Roach Family, nieces and nephews and the Bay class of 1968 and Brad Priddy. Visitation will be from 2-4 Sunday afternoon at Emerson Funeral Home.
