Paul Dean Mills

Paul Mills, 74, of Jonesboro died on Sunday August 12, 2012 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House with his family at his side.

Mr. Mills was born on November 21, 1937 to the late Ertha Mills and Dovie Mills Levins in Trumann. He has lived in NE Arkansas most of his life, and he graduated from Arkansas State College with a degree in accounting. He was owner and operator of an accounting firm, Paul Mills & Associates for many years. He was a CPA from 1974 until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Rotary Club of Jonesboro. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and had a passion for ASU Athletics. He was a member of the Fast Break Club and Red Wolves Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Julene McDonald.

Mr. Mills is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Mills of the home; two sons, Gary D Mills and his wife Susan of Montreal, Canada, and Gregory Mills and his wife Julie of Jonesboro; step-daughter, Mary A. Rich of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Cristin Mills, Taylor Mills, Austin Rich, and Valerie Rich; two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Friday morning 10am in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Tex Ergle officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers are Don Roberts, Rowland Mullins, Bob Ferralasco, Shirl Strauser and Gerald Spencer.
