Paul Jerry Cox

Paul “Jerry” Cox, 73 of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday morning, September 1, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Weiner, AR. and was of the Baptist belief. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially loved watching westerns. He had worked at Emerson Ambulance Service and then was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne of the home, step-son, Jeff Wheeler of Jonesboro, Step daughters, Toni Dixon, Sandra Gartman, both of Jonesboro and Lisa Wheeler of Amagon; sister Ileta Davis of Harrisburg; 8 step grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner with Bro. Harold Russell officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
