Paul " Chuck" D. Gambill

Paul “Chuck” D. Gambill, 51, of Jonesboro passed away of natural causes at his residence on Friday, May 16, 2014.
Paul was born on November 11, 1962 in Jonesboro to the late Charley and Hazel Harris Gambill. He lived all his life in the Jonesboro area. He was a member of the graduating class of 1980 from Jonesboro High School, and was also a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. He loved to watch Arkansas Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals, and as a young man he loved to play baseball and as an adult he helped coach his niece’s softball teams. His love of painting and passion for sports will be missed but never forgotten.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Dale Gambill.

He is survived by one son, Josh Gambill of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, Leah Gambill of San Diego, CA; one sister, Charolette McArthur and her husband Doug of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Robbie McMasters officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Mark Knight, Brian Baker, Randy Baker, Mark Harris, Gale Harris, and Michael Reynolds will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Security team at the Mall of Turtle Creek.
