Patty Sue Garrett

Patty Sue Garrett, 71, of Jonesboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Jonesboro, Patty was a 1963 graduate of Jonesboro High School and 1965 graduate of Jonesboro Business College. She lived about 15 years in Pine Bluff before moving to Florida where she lived several years in Punta Gorda before moving back to Jonesboro last September.

Patty was a member of the United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Martha Smith Scarborough.

Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Randal and Teresa Ballew of Jonesboro, Ralph Brett and Wendi Ballew of Bryant, and Matthew and Cole Garrett of New York City;

2 sisters and brother-in-law: Joann and Joe Brewer of Charleston, South Carolina, and Joyce Gurdian of Jonesboro;

3 grandchildren and
6 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at North Main Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Visitation will follow the memorial service at the church.
