Patty Sue Moss

Patty Sue Moss, 62, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born here in Jonesboro October 31, 1954 to Elmer and Ruby Payne. Patty spent the vast majority of her life residing here in Jonesboro. She was known by everyone who knew her as such a sweet lady and a great person to be around. Most of all she was great and loving meemaw to her grandbabies.

She is preceded in death by her father: Elmer Payne; uncle: Richard Owens; and aunt: Ruthie Wade.

Patty is survived by her mother: Ruby A. Payne; one son: Josh(Tabitha) Daniel of Jonesboro; two daughters: Heather(Jesse) Bishop of Jonesboro and Shannon(Kevin) King of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister: Nancy Payne of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren: Breanna King, Shelby King, Bentley Peterson, Zoe Bishop, Jaysen Bishop, Jaxon Daniel, and Saria Bishop.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home with Dr. Johnny Hutchison officiating.
