Patsy L. Lucas

Patsy L. Lucas, 80, of Jonesboro died early Sunday morning, January 6, 2008, at her home. She was born in Jonesboro and came back to live in Jonesboro in 1987, moving here from Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church,

She loved taking care of people, as a homemaker and as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David W. Lucas, and her parents, Virgil and Pauline Griffin.

She is survived by one son, Johnie M. Lucas and his wife Sharon, Harrisonville, Missouri; one daughter Mary Kay Dinges and her husband Larry, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; four brothers and sisters-in-laws, James and Inez Griffin, Jonesboro; David “Sandy” and Ann Griffin, Clovis, New Mexico; Roger “Andy” Griffin, and Michael Griffin, both of Jonesboro; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Weltha Mae and Frank Feick, Panama City Beach, Florida; Martha and Marvin Higgins; and Mary and Herbert Pierce, both of Jonesboro.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at Pine Log Cemetery with Brother Jerry Jolly officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
