Patsy Jean Marsh, 71, of Jonesboro, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Jonesboro, Patsy lived most of her life in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and worked 21 years for Rose Care Nursing Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
She was a member of Victory Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Batesville and was preceded in death by her parents: John and Alta Hughes; by a sister: Faye Davis, and by a daughter: Phylis Marsh.
Survivors include:
3 Sons: John Marsh, Gerald Marsh and Joseph Marsh, all of Jonesboro;
3 Daughters: Janet Jackson, Anita Allison and Elizabeth Marsh, all of Jonesboro;
1 Brother: John Hughes, Jr. of Poughkeepsie;
11 Grandchildren, and
21 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Allen West officiating. Burial will follow in Pierce Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include: Jim Anderson, Jerry Gibson, Robert Hammack,
Joey Tongusi, Michael Hall and Terry Smith.
Honorary pallbearers include: John Kahre Marsh, Gerald Marsh, Jr., Joshua Marsh,
Jason Marsh, Benjamin Allison and Christopher Williamson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
