Patsy Janice Gragg

Patsy Janice Gragg, 78, passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home in Jonesboro on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

Patsy was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her life here. She was a 1956 graduate of Nettleton High School. Through her life, Patsy worked at Frolic Footwear, General Electric, Gragg Plumbing and retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company, all in Jonesboro.

Patsy was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and loved her Savior, Jesus, dearly. She especially enjoyed the holidays as it was a wonderful time to spend with her loved ones. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed preparing Sunday meals for her family and friends. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Ethel Patterson Fuller and her only sibling, Mauriece Taylor.

Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl and Gayland Bennett of Jonesboro and Teresa and David Burgess of Drummonds, Tennessee;

3 grandchildren: Lindsay Baker of Jonesboro and Blake Burgess and Daniel Burgess, both of Drummonds, Tennessee; and

5 great grandchildren: Cedes Baker, Colby Baker, Blayne Ray, Harper Carnathan and Maezie Carnathan.

Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Zane Gragg officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Emerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Gayland Bennett, David Burgess, Blake Burgess, Daniel Burgess, Colby Baker and Darrell Baker.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Association.
