Obituary

Patricia “Patty” Diane Minga, 73, departed this life on March 12, 2026. She was born on December 17, 1952, to Norman and Susie Griffy in Little Rock.

Patty dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse before later serving as a cook for First Methodist Church. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and was known for her servant’s heart. Patty would give the shirt off her back or the last penny in her pocket to help someone in need. She was deeply involved in ministries including John 3:16, Breaking Bonds, and In His Wings. Her faith was the foundation of her life; she loved God and His Word. Patty found great joy in being surrounded by her family and friends. She had a nurturing spirit, always taking care of others, and was known for giving the warmest, most heartfelt hugs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, William Wiley, Howard Wiley, Norma Penny, and Joseph Wiley.

Patty is survived by her sons, Patrick (Amy) Goza of Arkansas and Michael Wiley of Tennessee; her brothers, James Wiley of Arkansas, John Wiley, Tom Wiley both of Missouri, and Henry Wiley of Louisiana; her sisters, Katie (Lloyd) Stevens and Fern Werger, both of Arkansas; her grandchildren, Ashly Carroll, Monica (Deshea) Allen, Aleece (Mitchell) Davis, and Gabriella Lowe; her great-grandchildren, Damari Allen, Peyton Allen, Cooper Davis, and Clara Davis; along with many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of cherished friends.

Patty’s family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
