Patricia "Pat" Darby Looney

Pat Looney, 73, of Jonesboro, formerly of West Memphis passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born September 27, 1948 in Memphis to the late W.J. and Frances Darby. Pat was a member of First Baptist Church. She retired from Arkansas State University as the Director of Affirmative Action. Pat enjoyed traveling and watching horse shows.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her father and mother in law, Ronald and Ruth Looney.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Ron Looney of the home; son, C.J. (Jenny) Looney of Paragould; daughter, Sarah Looney of Austin, Texas; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and sister in law, Patty (Mike) Driscoll of Germantown, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Arlis Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
