Patricia Humes

Patricia Humes, 70, of Caraway Passed from this life on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Manila to Raymond Martin and Opal Mouzy Martin on April 24, 1948. Patricia enjoyed spending time at church and was a member of Rowe Chapel in Caraway. She enjoyed finding deals at rummage sales, cooking, and socializing with family and friends. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Al Humes; parents, Raymond and Opal Mouzy Martin; sister, Annie Weeks; nephew, Roger Daggett; and sisters-in-law, Nadine Martin and Shirley Martin. She is also preceded by her precious dog, Lady.

Patricia is survived by her brothers, Veon Martin of Caraway, Paul Martin of Caraway, Carl Martin of Brookland, and Bobby Martin of Leachville; and sister, Mildred Sellers of Jonesboro. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Caraway with Bro Rick Stevens officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery.

The visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m.
