Patricia Dian Foltz, known to family and friends as Dian, passed away on February 24, 2026, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on July 8, 1950, in Wynne, Arkansas, and was raised in Piggott, Arkansas.

Dian was a graduate of Arkansas State University and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at St. Bernard’s Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John Foltz; her children, Carrie Hatton (Billy Hatton), April Holifield-Scott (Chris Scott), and stepchildren Nikki Foltz, and Jeff Foltz (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ian Hatton (Alison), Griffin Hatton (Scout), Hadley Foltz, Stephanie Foltz, and Alexanna Scott; her brother, Doyle Dean Simpson; and many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, R.A. and Edith Simpson, and her brothers, Dewon Simpson and Darrell Simpson, as well as her infant son, Lane Holifield.

A private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Humane Society in her honor.
