Patricia Chesser, 72, of Russellville, Arkansas, died Monday, September 12, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She had only lived in Russellville for approximately one year, but lived most of her life in the Paragould area. She was a member of the Evans Mountain Full Gospel Church in Appleton, Arkansas. She was born on July 16, 1950, to Millard “Tuff” and Ernestine Wilkey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Chesser, brothers, Ernest Wilkey, Elvis Wilkey and Jimmy Wilkey; and one sister, Deborah Greer.
Survivors include her son, James Chesser and his wife, Risa of Russellville; brothers, Robert Wilkey and wife Doris of Bono; Rickey Wilkey of Fayetteville; Lodus Wilkey and wife Bert of Paragould; Bobby Wilkey of Conway; sisters, Melinda Hinchcliff of Jonesboro; Reba Jones of Conway; Vikkie Greenway and husband Matt Prunty; five grandchildren, Rhiannon Carter, Caleb Carter, Elouise Carter, Rachel Chesser and Angelica Southard; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Emerson Memorial Chapel under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Redd Cemetery near Cash, Arkansas with James Chesser, Lodus Wilkey, David Green, Joe Bills, Caleb Chesser, Elouise Chesser, Rachel Chesser, Terry Maness and Bradley Williams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jessie Baxter, Floyd Baxter, Daniel Gibson, and Phillip Whitrow. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time on Saturday.
