Patricia Butler

April 21, 1970 — November 18, 2014

Patricia “Patty” Butler went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on April 21, 1970 to Byron “Burke” and Wilma Wayland Butler. Patty lived in Jonesboro since 1986, moving here from Reyno, Arkansas. She and her mother Wilma was the owner and operator of Butler Therapy Center. Patty was also the owner operator of the Northeast Arkansas School of Massage and was a Christian.

She was a gifted massage therapist and instructor, who was chosen best of the best several times and massage was not the only facet of her life where she was gifted.

Patricia loved animals especially dogs, a strong supporter of Northeast Arkansans for Animals as well as other rescue shelters.
One of her hobbies was travel where she had made several trips to Europe, Ireland and Italy in the last several years. She was always planning where she wanted to go next. With her infectious smile and dynamic personality, she gathered friends from all walks of life. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her father: Byron “Burke” Butler and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Patty is survived by her mother; Wilma Butler of Jonesboro.
Sister; Betsy Dozier and husband Claris of Jonesboro.
Nephews; Lucian Lynxwiler of Jonesboro and Houston Dozier of Bensenville, Illinois.
Special friend; Kevin Rhodes of Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be held on Friday November 21, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robbie Cline, Rev. Andy Neal and Jimmy Adcox officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery at Reyno with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 4:30-8:00 P.M. on Thursday November 20, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Bud Dudley, Eric Turman, Brooks Cravens, Andy Ball, Jimmy Cole and Lucian Lynxwiler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1138 E. Matthews Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 or to the Northeast Arkansans For Animals P.O. Box 10075, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
