Patrice Renee Poynor

Patrice Renee LaBarreare Poynor, 50, died Thursday December 22, 2011 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and had lived in Jonesboro for 14 years, moving here from Woodbridge, Virginia. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and a retired nurse.
She was a 1979 graduate of Nettleton High School and also she was a member of the Nettleton Boosters and had served as president. She loved to fish, scrapbook and work on computers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Earnestine Boling LaBarreare, brother, Howard Woodbury.

Survived by her loving husband of 25 years James E. Poynor of the home.

Son, Alex Poynor of Jonesboro.
Brother, James LaBarreare of the home.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Paul White officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers will be James Baggett, Fred Boling, Larry Boling, Addison Boling, Brandon Doty and Marc Sexton.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Emerson Funeral Home.
