Patrea L. Son

Patrea L. Son, 56, of Imboden passed from this life Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Nea Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 6, 1964 in Humbolt, TN to Winford Hicks and Ehrline Walker. She has resided in Imboden for the last 26 years after coming from Jonesboro. She was a proud member of Liberty Hill Church in Hardy.  Patrea received her master’s degree in Social work and was a licensed social worker for over 20 years. She loved helping others and never met a stranger. In her spare time Patrea enjoyed trail riding with her horses.  Most of all, Patrea was a very loving mother who will be missed dearly.

Patrea is preceded in death by her daddy, Winford Hicks; grandparents, Blanch and Carl Walker, Dave and Edna Hicks; brother, Jerry Hicks; step father, Joe Walter; and nephew, Brandon Monroe.

Patrea is survived by her mother, Ehrline (Richard) Meddleton of Jonesboro; sons, Matt Wilson of Seattle, WA and Tj Son of the home; daughter, Leah (Dale) Arnold of Imboden; brother, Joey (Kasey) Walter of Wenatchee, WA; sisters, Judy (Wes) Monroe and Diana (Mark) Deal both of North Little Rock; along with nieces, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Liberty Hill Church in Hardy with Brother Joe Kiaser officiating.

In lieu of flowers family asks that donations please be made to the Liberty Hill Church or Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Please no flowers.
