Pamla Rodgers Bernheisel

Pamla Rodgers Bernheisel, 59 of Merced, CA died peacefully May 6, 2012 with her husband, Eric, at her side.

Pam was born in Jonesboro, AR, August 31, 1952 to Rex and Vonda Holt and was a member of Bay High School Class of 1970. She worked for QuadGraphics for over 30 years. While living in Jonesboro Pam was a member of Central Baptist Church where she served in the youth department for many years. After moving to California Pam joined Yosemite Church in Merced.

Pam loved the outdoors. She spent many hours hiking trails all over the country. She was a member of the Ozark Highland Hiking Trails Association. Pam loved to hike the Grand Canyon, Sierras, Rockies and even the Amazon.

Pam was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Rodgers, her parents, Vonda and Rex Holt, Sr., and her brother, Ronnie Holt.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Bernheisel of Merced, CA, a daughter, Allison Rodgers Cristofori and her husband, Richard, of Trenton, TN, three grandchildren, Noah, Joseph, and Marissa, a brother, William Rex Holt and wife Sherry of Newbury Park, CA, and a sister Melody Bell Rawlins and husband Wade of Jonesboro. Many nieces and nephews she loved with all of her heart.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Bay 1st United Methodist Church with Rev. Worth Gibson officiating. Burial will be private.

There will be no visitation.
