Pamela Jean Painter, 60, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Pamela was born in Flint, Michigan, and lived several years in Piggott before moving to Jonesboro. Pamela was a 1975 graduate of Piggott High School and worked several years for Rogers Produce in Piggott. Pamela also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Murphy Healthcare in Piggott.
Pamela was first and foremost a Christian and was described by friends as a very sweet lady who was an angel on earth. She volunteered at The HUB (Helping Underserved Belong) in Jonesboro and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, singing gospel songs and sharing God's Word If anyone needed to be prayed over Pam would stop what she was doing and pray for that person. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Painter.
Survivors include her mother Peggy Nagy; brothers Brian Negy (Teresa) and James Nagy (Darla Haws) ; sisters: Robyn Nagy (Danny Brown), and Sherryl McAberns, all of Piggott.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard with Rev. Brian Nagy officiating. There will be no visitation.
