Page Gibson

Page Gibson, 62 of Jonesboro, went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 17, 2010 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Page was born in Jonesboro and lived his life here and was the owner and operator of Jonesboro Termite and Pest Control. He was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church where he served in Master’s Men. He was a Vietnam Air force veteran, retired firefighter and a 32nd degree Mason. Page loved hunting, fishing and going to Branson. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Gibson, sister in-law, Jeneice Dulaney, paternal grandparents, Roy and Bess Gibson, maternal grandparents, Clayton and Effie Jordan. one nephews Kevin Gibson and one great nephew Logan Gibson.

Page leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Ina Croom Gibson of the home.
One son; Shawn Gibson and wife Amy of Jonesboro.
One daughter; Christy Chamberlain and husband Joe of Jonesboro.
Mother; Johnnie Gibson of Jonesboro.
Two brothers; Don Gibson of Jonesboro and Kim Gibson of Cash.
His blood brother; Dudley Peck of N. Little Rock.
One brother in-law; Larry Dulaney and wife Patty of Jonesboro
Two grandchildren; Ethan Gibson and Caitlyn Mans.
Page also had a lot of close and dear friends, especially his church family.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 19, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Winningham and Jim Tinsley officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with full Firefighter honors. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers will be the Jonesboro Fire Department honor guard.
Honorary pallbearers will be the former fire department personnel, Dr. Veryl Hodges, Dr. Rick Tate and the Men of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until service time Saturday June 19, 2010 at Emerson Funeral Home.
