Ouida Ann Hendrix, of Jonesboro, passed away peacefully Monday, October 5th with her family by her side at 74 years of age. She was born June 4th, 1946 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she resided most of her life. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Jonesboro High School and later enjoyed a career in banking. She was preceded in death by her father- Alfred Hendrix; mother- Loieda Lane Hendrix; brother- Alfred Hendrix, Jr; and godson- Darrell Coble, Jr.
She is survived by her sisters- LaVeda Brown (Leon Brown),Kristy Kent and Alleda Long of Texas; her nieces and nephew- Krislane Woodard (David), Leon Brown Jr (Claire Brown), and Keeley Brown; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00, Friday, October 9, 2020, at the Trinity Cemetery in Bono, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. All other services will be private.
