Otis Michael Glasco, age 69, met the Lord on November 12, 2019, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Mike was born on December 6 in 1949, to parents Alex and Ruby.
Mike, as he was known to friends and family, was preceded in death by his mother Ruby, father Alex, and brother Burnis. He is survived by his wife, Faye (Rodgers), of Jonesboro; brothers Dawayne, married to Judy; Loran, married to Cathy; sister Vicki, married to Scotty; his son, David (Maryam), of Jonesboro; his son, Robby (Libby), of Paragould; grandsons Shane and Zachary; granddaughter, Rachel; and great grandchildren Cannon and Calla.
Mike was stricken with polio as a child. While he was fortunate enough to overcome the disease, his experience left him with a desire to help others overcome their own challenges, and he was involved in promoting athletics for the disabled for much of his life.
He attended Valley View High School, and graduated from Arkansas Career Training Institute and began a career in electronics.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved gardening, fishing, and horses. Mike prided himself on self-reliance, and loved building and fixing things.
He was possibly the worst joke teller ever, but made up for it with his stories, which typically kept everyone riveted, sometimes for hours.
