Otis Bradley, 82, of Jonesboro, died Monday, September 3, 2007, at his home.
Born in Mobley, Arkansas, Otis lived in Batesville before moving to Jonesboro in 1951. He retired from Arkansas State University where he had worked several years in the Dairy and retired as manager of the Physical Plant motor pool.
Otis was a long-time member of Grace Missionary Baptist and was preceded in death by his parents: Elson and Rena James Bradley and one brother. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include:
His wife: Vada Hatler Bradley of the home;
2 Daughters: Phyllis Brooks and her husband, Gene Brooks, and
Renee Bradley, all of Jonesboro;
2 Sons and their wives: Danny and Phyllis Bradley of Titusville, Florida, and
Gene and Greta Bradley of Jonesboro;
8 Grandchildren,
6 Great Grandchildren, and
1 Great, Great Grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at Grace Missionary Baptist Church with Danny Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Ron Johnson, David Fowlkes, Troy Ellis, Jerry Mathis,
E.S. Cockrum and Frank Love.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
