Oscar Lee Kee

Oscar L. Kee, 87, of Caraway stepped into heaven Saturday December 10, 2011 from Lakeside Nursing Center.

Oscar was born on January 3, 1924 to the late John Thomas and Lee Ola Kee in Pumpkin Bend, Arkansas. He has lived in the Caraway area for over the past 50 years where he was a self-employed Mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway, and had been a deacon for the church for many years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Kee; one brother, Albert Kee; and one sister, Dorothy Morris.

Survivors include his son, Danny Kee of Memphis, TN; one daughter, Janis Barker of Caraway; one sister, Thelma Armstrong of Marion, AR; two granddaughters, Amanda Barker and Ann Marie Burch and husband Eric all of Jonesboro; three great grandchildren, Beau Alexander, Hayden Burch, Blane Smith, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be at 2pm on Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Caraway with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7p.m. at First Baptist Church in Caraway.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Eddie Joe Barker, John Starnes, Bill Riley, Larry Barrett, Robert Adcock.
