Orma Jo Vincent

Orma Jo Vincent, 65, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Orma was a cosmetologist for over 35 years working at the Southgate Beauty Salon and Suntan Hair Center for several years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Jonesboro where she taught in the AWANA program.

Orma was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Bertha King Dorton; by 2 brothers: Monroe and Lloyd Dorton; and by a sister, Vera Moore.

Survivors include: Her husband of 45 years: Dillon Vincent of the home;

Her Daughter and Son-in-law: Stacy and Tommy Johns of Jonesboro;

3 Sisters: Dorothy Rainbolt, Zelma Wilson, and Betty Watkins, all of Jonesboro;

3 Brothers: Russell Dorton, Howard Dorton, and Doyle Dorton, all of Jonesboro; and

3 Grandsons: Noah Johns, Ethan Johns and Levi Johns, all of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include: Troy Martin, James Nelson, Bill Edington, Mick Boling, Ronald Roach and Harrison Wheaton.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
