Orlean Prunty Clark

Orlean Prunty Clark, age 83 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Friday, March 21, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Augusta, Orlean had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the 1 ^st Baptist Church on Huntington. She loved cooking, gardening and flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents Matthew and Mamie Tyson Prunty; 2 daughters, 2 grandsons, 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

Survivors include a son, Matthew Prunty of Jonesboro; 5 brothers, Louis Prunty (Linda), Floyd Prunty (Louvenia), John Prunty, all of Jonesboro; Bob Prunty (Pat) of California; James Prunty (Bessie) of Rockford, IL; 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday March 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Guy Kochel officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Louis Prunty, Darrell Prunty, Marlon Sanders, Courtney Clark, Brian Nelson, Thomas Henry, Eric Mathes, and Patrick Johnson.
