Ople Lee Smith

Ople Lee Smith, 67, of Otwell died Thursday morning at her son’s home. She was raised in Bowman and was a dedicated homemaker.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Faith & Troy Morris, David & Patsy Smith, Debbie & Randy Roberts, Sandra & Matthew Leonard, Roger & Tracy Smith; ten beautiful grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Lyles, CA, Henry Victor, Ohio, Lou Ann Johnson, Melba Byrd, and brother, Marlon Cambron, all of Jonesboro; and a good friend, Raymond Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Bud” Smith, her parents, Floy Lee Angel & William Thomas Cambron; three brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Wayne McGill officiating. Burial will follow at Otwell Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be David Smith, Troy Morris, Matthew Leonard, Sr., Jessie Warren, Tim Leonard, and Joseph Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Roberts, Roger Smith, Ryan Smith, Ron Johnson, and Marlon Cambron.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
