Opal Earline Mcmillin

June 20, 1920 — September 3, 2010

Opal Earline McMillin, 90, of Jonesboro, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at Craighead County Nursing Center. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1984, moving here from St. Louis, Missouri. She was of the Protestant belief and was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, and one grandson.

Survivors include sons, Lindell McMillin and wife, Bettiann, St. Charles, Missouri; Dan McMillin and wife, Martha, Jonesboro; Lanny McMillin and wife Brenda, Pevely, Missouri; daughter, Shirley Glaub and husband, Tony, Jonesboro; sister Wanetta Smitherman, Little Rock, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Patty Soward officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M., Tuesday until service time.
