Oneta Wilson

Oneta Wilson, 71, of Bono passed from life on April 22, 2024 at her residence. Born on September 17, 1952, in Roswell, New Mexico, Oneta was the cherished daughter of E.L. and Patsy Jeffery. As the daughter of an Air Force member, she experienced the adventure of travel from an early age, fostering a spirit of curiosity and adaptability within her. Oneta completed her education at Cabot High School, marking the beginning of a life rich in experiences and connections.

Throughout her journey, Oneta found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for literature, finding endless wonder within the pages of books. Yet, her greatest source of happiness came from the time spent in the company of her beloved family, especially her grandchildren, who brought boundless laughter and love into her life.

In addition to her parents, Oneta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don Wilson, her brother, Roy Jeffery, and her sister, Karen Jeffery.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her son, Jeffrey Wilson (Tonya), and daughter, Becky Johnson (Dwayne), both of Bono. Her grandchildren, Jason, Korinthian, Drake, Rachel, Ryan, and Kamrin, as well as her great-grandchildren, Daniel and Iris, will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

In celebration of Oneta's life, her family will welcome guests at Becky's house, located at 210 Ivy Street, Bono, AR 72416, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, starting at 1 p.m. It will be a time to honor her memory, share stories, and find comfort in the embrace of loved ones.
