Oleeta Mccallister

Oleeta McCallister, 82, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1925, in Denmark, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro since 1942.

She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a founding corporate officer of Winningham Parts Warehouse, Inc. and A & G Auto Parts. She retired from St. Bernards Hospital accounting in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Strickland, Sr. and her former husband Andrew McCallister; parents, Floyd and Elizabeth Berry Winningham; brothers, Floyd, Othar, and Orville Winningham; and sisters, Odalene Vickers and Irene Darcy.

Survivors include her daughter Pat Hamlin and husband Bruce of Jonesboro; grandson, Bryan Hamlin and wife Mary of Tampa, Florida; one brother, Jim Winningham of Concord, Arkansas, and a friend, Mary Bryant of Jonesboro.

Celebration of Life service will be held in Jonesboro at a later date.
