Ola Faye Burrow, 84, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House with her family by her side.
She was born to the late Orr Lee and Thrisa Jane Shankle in Lepanto, Arkansas on December 26, 1934.
Ola lived all of her life living in the Northeast Arkansas where she was of the Church Of Christ belief. She was an avid gardener who loved flowers. Ola loved cooking for her family. Most of all Ola enjoyed spending time and taking care of her grandkids and great grandkids.
In addition to her parents, Ola is preceded in death by her husband, George Z. Burrow; four sisters; three brothers; and two sons, James Larry Burrow, and George Allen Burrow.
Ola is survived by three daughters: Linda Tate of Little Rock, Dolly (Gerald) Foreman of Bono, and Barbara (Earl) Hutchison of Jonesboro; two brothers, James Alfred (Cathy) Shankle and Junior Shankle both of Covington, TN; one sister, Sue Black of Covington, TN; ten grandchildren, Tony Hutchison, Anthony Foreman, Timothy Burrow, Christy Eldridge, Adam Burrow, Randell Burrow, Jeremy Tate, Jesse Burrow, Zachary Tate, and Annabella Burrow; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and her fur baby of 13 years Kricket.
A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with active pallbearers being, Tony Hutchison, Anthony Foreman, Timothy Burrow, Adam Burrow, Randell Burrow, Jeremy Tate, Zachary Tate, and Greg Eldridge.
