Charles Odell Jones, 54, of Trumann, died Friday afternoon at his home of natural causes.
A native of Trumann, Odell lived much of his life in Trumann. He worked 22 years for Bilco Company in Trumann before becoming disabled. He attended Healing Hands Pentecostal Church of God in Trumann and was an avid fisherman.
Odell was a NASCAR racing fan and was preceded in death by his mother and 1 sister.
Survivors include:
His wife: Roxann Jones of the home;
1 Daughter: Hannah Jones of the home;
His father: Odis Jones of New Albany, Mississippi; and
3 Sisters: Faye Slagley of Salem,
Doris Jordan of New Albany, and
Betty Parrish of Trumann.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 at Healing Hands Pentecostal Church of God in Trumann with Rev. Lee Reeves, Rev. Anthony Patterson, Jr. and
Rev. Mike Powell officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers include: Jerry Whitsett, Al Campbell, Bobby Willbanks, Lloyd Jones,
Ricky Willbanks, Mike Phillips, Mike Bennett, and Bill Francis.
Honorary pallbearers include: Anthony Patterson, Sr., Avondale Williams, Guy Smith,
Bobby Meredith, and employees of the Bilco Company.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening, 5-9, at Healing Hands Pentecostal Church of God on West Main Street in Trumann.
The family extends a “Special Thank You” to Dr. Marc Monte and his medical staff for the compassionate care given to Odell.
For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to St. Bernards Hospice Program, 2813 Forest Home Rd., Jonesboro, AR 72401.
