Norman Clois Scarborough

Norman Clois Scarborough, a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, passed away at 83 on November 17, 2023, at his home. Born on March 2, 1940, to the late E.O. and Lucille Scarborough, Norman served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1962 and worked for NCR for 17 years, retiring from DuPont as a Chemical Plant Maintenance specialist.
Norman found joy in hunting, fishing, and woodworking, expressing his passion for the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Nolan Scarborough.
He is survived by his life partner, Marlene Dement; his sons, Rickey Scarborough and Kevin Scarborough, and grandchildren, Holly Scarborough and Lauren Scarborough.
A memorial service will be held on November 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m.
