Norman "Joe" Lairson

Norman “Joe” Lairson, 66, of Lake City died Saturday November 20, 2010 while duck hunting with his friends at Tulot Arkansas.

He was born in Trumann Arkansas and had lived in Lake City since 1970. He was a member of the Lake City Church of Christ, was an avid duck hunter. He worked as welder for Mid-America.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Margaret Johnson Lairson, one sister Sandra Lairson, one granddaughter and twin brothers.

Survived by his wife, Diane Lairson of the home, one son Randy Lairson and wife Susan of Brookland, two daughters; Angie Wiman and husband James of Lake City, Lisa Floyd and husband Jeff of Amboy Illinois, one brother Billy Ray Lairson of Ravenden Springs AR., one sister Patricia Parrish of Tulot AR. He also has four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be 2:00p.m. Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Lance Guest officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Bailey, Ray Wright, Pete Crowe, Sonny Parrish, Chase Parrish, Nathaniel Adkinson, Chris Timms, Adam Seger, Spike Wiman, Jon Floyd and the Alabama Boys.

There will be no visitation.
