Norman Charles “Doc” Hale, 72, of Jonesboro died, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his home. He had lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include sons, Rick Hale of Jacksonville, Florida; Richard Hale, Randy Hale, Jack Hale all of West Plains, Missouri; Dalton Hale, of the home; daughter, Holly Hale of the home; step-daughters, Timberly Baker of Jonesboro and Brandi Pearson of Bono; sisters, Aileen Coffman, New Market, Alabama; Angelia Deming, Sabula Iowa; Ruthe Love, and Karen Johnson of Roscoe, Illnois; care giver, Carolyn Carnell, of the home, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Monday, August 15, 2011, at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Pallbearers are Dalton Hale, John David Simpkins, Ryan Miller, Dale Dulaney, Leonard Browning, and Tim Lamberth. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and burial will be at Trinity Cemetery near Bono. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time.
