Norma Jean Westbrook

Norma Jean Westbrook, 93 of Jonesboro, AR passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at The Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.  She was born August 18, 1929 to Claude and Fonnee Simpkins.

Norma’s passions in life were her faith, family and friends.  Her signature gift of joy shown through her constant smiling, laughter and her joking around will never be forgotten.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Westbrook, Sr. and two brothers; C.B. Simpkins and Jim Simpkins.

Norma was survived by a son; Robert Westbrook, Jr. (Lana) of Henderson, AR; a daughter Jeanie Pechilis of Jonesboro, a grandson; Nicholas Pechilis of Greenville, SC, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, 710 S. Main St. in Jonesboro.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm, followed by the service at 2:00 pm, with Ross Burton officiating.  Burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery.
