Norma V. Asbury

Norma Asbury, 87, of Brookland, formerly of Mammoth Spring, died Saturday, march 21, 2009, at St. Bernard’s.

She was born January 11, 1922, in Canton, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Asbury, in 1963.

Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Heyl and husband Larry, of Brookland; grandchildren, Sarah Brown and husband Devin, Chicago, Gretchen Hunt and husband Jason, Paragould, Kiersten Heyl and wife Rosemary, Paragould, Carl Heyl and wife Courtney, Little Rock, Megan Heyl, Brookland, and Uldis Heyl, Colorado; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown, Conley Hunt and Colter Hunt.

A celebration of her life will be held April 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Brookland United Methodist Church.
