Norma Jean Daugherty

Norma Jean Daugherty, 79, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived here all her life. She was a homemaker and a charter member of North Main Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School Teacher at North Main Baptist and taught for over 30 years in the Children’s Department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

She is survived by her husband, George Daugherty, of the home; one son, Stephen Daugherty, Jonesboro; brother, Glen Hart, Jonesboro; two sisters, Betty Haggenmacher, Jonesboro; and Billie Wagoner of Illinois. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Crystal Blake and one great grandson, Caden Blake, both of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 9, 2007 at North Main Baptist Church with Brother Gary Brown and Brother Bobby Crabb officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
