Norine Martin

Norine Martin, 95 of Ozark Acres died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.

She was born on March 20, 1918 in Piggott. She was a former co-owner of Martin's Jewelry Store in Trumann, and was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her son, John Martin; a daughter, Janis Gammon, and a husband Heber Martin; one brother and one sister.

She is survived by four grandsons, Chad Gammon, Craig Gammon, Andy Martin and Barry Martin; three great grandchildren, Brittany Painter, Austin Gammon, Emma Grace Martin; and a host of other family and friends.

Service will be Tuesday at 2pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Sawford officiating.

Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be from 1pm until service time at the funeral home.

The Martin family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to a dear friend and companion/caregiver, Maudie Steele for all the help and love she display to Norine over the last several years.
