Nora Harriet Dosier, 79, of Marmaduke, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Lamar, Arkansas, Nora lived much of her life in California before moving to Oklahoma in 2013 and then to Marmaduke last year.
Nora was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed shopping.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents who raised her: Elmo and Ellen Louise Wallis; her natural parents: James Joseph and Leathe Vesta English Cooper; her husband, Jerry Dosier; daughter, Janice Huddleston; son, Henry Huddleston; 2 sisters, Erma Long and Anita Cooper; and a brother, Joe Cooper.
Survivors include 3 daughters and sons-in-law: Robin Haven Lovelace (Winston) of Marmaduke, Penny Cordero (Robert) of Reno, Nevada, and Lorri Bates (Corey) of Edmund, Oklahoma;
3 sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffery Dosier (Jennifer) of Los Gatos, California, Richard Wallis (Dannetta) of San Jose, California, and Johnny Airrington (Lynda) of Morgan Hill, California;
1 sister, Marilyn Merwarth of Fort Lauderdale, Florida;
14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Providence Cemetery near Lafe with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
