Nona Joyce Tolbert

Nona Tolbert, 77, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 at her home. She was born August 26, 1948 in Brookland to the late Wiley and Evelyn Gray. Nona worked for St. Bernards Medical Center for almost 40 years before retiring as a Registered Nurse Practitioner. Nona enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Nona was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Gray and her brother, Tommy Gray.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jerry Tolbert of the home; 2 sons, Sean Tolbert of Jonesboro, Gary Tolbert of Bono; 2 sisters, Gail (Fred) Flemon of Jonesboro, Janice (Billy) Williams of Jonesboro and numerous nieces and nephews.
