Noah Afton Kee

January 15, 1932 — January 28, 2015

Noah Afton Kee went to meet his heavenly Father on January 28 surrounded by his family. Born in Jonesboro on January 15, 1932, to Fred and Zora Kee, Noah served in the Army prior to attending Arkansas State College where he played drums in the first ever Tribe band. Retired from General Electric after 32 years of service, Noah enjoyed playing music, golf, and cards with his buddies.

In addition to his parents, Noah was predeceased by his brothers and four of his sisters. Noah is survived by his wife of over 30 years Betty Kee, children Jack Kee (Susan), Brenda Chester (Carol), Eddie Farley (Carla), and Debbie Turpin, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, as well as sisters Lottie Harris and Lois Carr (Carroll).

Funeral Services will be Monday, February 2, at Emerson Funeral Chapel at 2:00pm with Brother Jerry Parker officiating. Visitation will be at 12:30 until time of services. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ethan Farley, Matthew Chester, Trevor Sigman, Joe Pierce, Jim Cole, Justin Kyle. Honorary pallbearers Carol Chester, Daniel Felts, Glenn Eubanks, Max Parker, Danny White, Noah’s card and golf buddies.
