Nina Charline Mcknight

Charline McKnight, 82, of Jonesboro, died Monday, November 25, 2013, at NEA Baptist Hospital. She had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. Charline was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was involved in the Believers Sunday School Class and the Susanna Circle. She retired from South Elementary School as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bessie Phillips.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Bill McKnight of the home; daughters, Dr. BessAnne McKnight and Nina Elizabeth McKnight, both of Germantown, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the First United Methodist Chapel with Reverend John Miles officiating and Emerson Funeral Home officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will be private.
