Nina June Mcclintock

Nina June McClintock, 96, of Jonesboro died Monday, January 4, 2021.

Nina was born in Sharp County and lived in Jonesboro for 61 years. She loved her family and often showed that love through preparing large Sunday lunches after church. She attended two years of college and dedicated her life to loving her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Bible reader and faithfully attended Central Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents A.M. Wilkerson Sr. and Josie Wilkerson; daughter, Katrina; husband, Ray; three brothers and one sister.

Nina is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Bahn and husband Robert of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Sandra Taylor and husband Gaylon of Jonesboro.

Four grandchildren: Christopher Bahn and wife Rebecca Kirkpatrick-Bahn of Little Rock, Catherine Bahn of Jonesboro; Sarahbeth Vasgaard and husband, Aaron of Rogers; and Emilee Rountree and husband, John of Jonesboro; two great-grandchildren Hudson and Hollis Vasgaard. She will be remembered fondly by many others, including niece Theresa Kimberling and caregiver Anita Caples.

Funeral service for Nina McClintock will be private. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Bahn, Gaylon Taylor, Gary Kimberling, Christopher Bahn, Aaron Vasgaard and John Rountree.

In lieu of flowers the family requests lasting memorials be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 3707 Harrisburg Road, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72404.
