Nick Koegel, 36, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, May 8, 2017. He was born to Lloyd Coble and Mary Koegel in Elgin, Illinois on August 15, 1980. Nick has lived in Northeast Arkansas most of his life and attended Green County Tech High school. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. Nick would work on vehicles from sun up to sun down and would always have a smile on his face. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Koegel.
Nick is survived by his lifelong partner, Cyndi Mangrum of Jonesboro; son, Hunter Lamberth of Jonesboro; daughter, Emily Short of Lakeview, Arkansas; father, Lloyd Coble of Jonesboro; brothers, Steve Pirtle of Illinois, Mark Pirtle of Jonesboro, Scotty Rempfer of California, Michael Rempfer of California; and Tony Rempfer of Ohio; sisters, Lisa Cooper of Lake City, Stella Rempfer of Georgia, and Amanda Reynolds of Paragould. Nick also leaves behind three grandchildren, Brayden Lamberth, Adalynn lamberth, and Paislee Short; and a host of other family and friends that will miss him.
A visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private. The honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Lindsey, Wayne Morris, Clint Hutchison, and Cody Cavender.
